Amsha Amsha Women’s Group

Amsha Amsha Dare Women’s Group is a women-led community group focused on environmental conservation, recycling, creativity, and economic empowerment. The group brings women together to turn waste materials into useful and attractive products while creating opportunities for income generation and sustainable development.

One of the group’s main activities is recycling used plastic water bottles, including Kilimanjaro water bottles, by transforming them into practical items such as chairs and other useful products. The group also creatively reuses materials to make handmade accessories, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and decorative beads.

Through these activities, the women are contributing to a cleaner environment by reducing plastic waste while developing practical skills and creating products that can generate income. More importantly, the group demonstrates the power of women working together. Members support one another through shared ideas, skills, labour, and resources, helping each other build greater financial independence and improve their livelihoods.

Amsha Amsha Dare Women’s Group believes that unity, creativity, and collective effort can create meaningful change. By working together, the women are turning challenges such as plastic waste and limited economic opportunities into possibilities for entrepreneurship, environmental responsibility, and community development.
